Poker Hand Rankings: Strongest to Weakest

The existing poker hand order from Royal Flush to High Card, separated from betting actions and tournament information.

By PokerClubIndia Editorial · · 1 min read

The poker hand order on this site is Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair and High Card. This page is a reference to that order, not an event guide or a promise of results.

Strongest hands in the listed order

Royal Flush comes first, followed by Straight Flush, Four of a Kind and Full House. Keep that sequence together when reviewing the hand order.

The middle of the hand order

Flush is followed by Straight, then Three of a Kind and Two Pair. These names describe hand categories; they should not be confused with betting-round names such as flop, turn or river.

One Pair and High Card

One Pair and High Card complete the listed order. Memorising names alone is not a substitute for learning the rules of the variant or confirming event-specific arrangements.

What to read next

Use the poker-rules overview for betting actions and the Texas Hold’em guide for private cards, community cards and the round sequence. Strategy and tournament preparation are separate subjects. This short reference still needs worked card examples and a reviewed explanation of comparing hands before it can serve as a complete learning resource.
