How pot odds work
Pot odds compare what you must call with what you can win. If the pot is ₹240 and your opponent bets ₹120, you call ₹120 to win ₹360 — so you need to win at least 120 ÷ 480 = 25% of the time for the call to break even.
Counting outs
Outs are the unseen cards that improve you to the likely best hand. On the turn with one card to come, there are 46 unseen cards, so 9 flush outs give 9 ÷ 46 ≈ 19.6%. The quick "rule of 2 and 4" multiplies outs by 2 (one card) or 4 (two cards).
These spots assume your outs are clean and ignore future bets (implied odds). Want to go deeper? Read our poker guides.
